Felicity - Lyrics, Chords, Origin and Recording

Felicity is a song that I wrote. It had its genesis way back in 1990. At the time I was living in a shared house by the railway station (that's a Railroad station for you Americans) , in a little room that cost me £40 (at the time, maybe $70) a week to rent. Five of us lived in the house and lots of friends were always visiting. The lyrics are about a friend of a friend from down the road who one day stopped in for a cup of tea (very British, I know). Sadly, I can't remember her name, or even what she looked like, and I think it's the only time I ever saw her. The only thing I do remember is that she wasn't called Felicity. Back in 2008 (or so), I dusted the song off, found a new tune and chord structure for the verses, added a different bridge and came up with a new instrumental middle eight, and the result is what you hear below.
